The VORTEX™ coating system is a spray applied patented blend of Polyurethane and Polyurea. This unique combination creates a waterproof, corrosion resistant, thermal barred, protective coating to virtually any surface. Our portability enables us to bring your coating solutions to any location, applied by a team of trained professionals, in an array of colors and non slip surfaces. Polyurethanes are known for their superior durability and chemical resistance factor. They have the elasticity of rubber and the tough durability of metal, offering high abrasion and tear resistance. They are oil and solvent resistant, have a high load bearing capacity, are weather resistant as well as heat and cold resistant. Polyurea is a remarkable coating product with many qualities. It is waterproof, seamless and has excellent bonding strength and sustainability. It is weather tolerant, has low permeability, is flexible and resists thermal shock. Vortex™ material offers a cross linked polyurethane & polyurea blend which gives you all the characteristics of each individual compound, as well as high flex and strength, increased R value & anti fatigue. VORTEX™ is the result of many years of research and development with these two amazing materials. The spray applied Vortex material is provided by our Vortex machine and includes the patented Whisper-Jet™ technology built into our unit. The whisper-jet provides a constant 8 psi of pressure which gives 98% material transfer efficiency with little to no overspray. Our machines maintain high heat for our product and our spray lines are heated providing us with texture options for our coating process. FDA / USDA SPECIFICATIONS – Vortex™ meets and exceeds the standards for incidental food contact. A superior product where a strict hygienic environment and infection control is required. SAFE FOR ENVIRONMENT – Vortex™ is 100% solids with NO VOC (volatile organic compounds) and NO CFC (chlorofluorocarbon) emissions. Vortex is solvent free. THERMAL PROPERTIES – Vortex™ blocks 99% of energy transfer, translating into energy and cost savings. QUICK TURN AROUND – Vortex™ dries in 8-10 seconds and cures within hours, allowing you to return to business or pleasure sooner. UV STABILITY – Vortex™ UV stabilizer locks in true color. WATERPROOF – Vortex™ is waterproof, sealing any surface from the effects of weather. CHEMICAL RESISTANT – Vortex™ is resistant to all but the most caustic of acids. Oils, grease, industrial fluids, etc. have no effect. ADHERENCE – Vortex™ will adhere to Steel, Concrete, Wood, Fiberglass, Tile, Plastic, etc. It will also adhere to itself creating thickness to your specification. APPLICATION FRIENDLY – Vortex™ is applied at only 8 PSI for minimal overspray, mess, and minimum product waste (about 2%). LOW MAINTAINENCE – Vortex™ is a solid, impermeable surface, giving years of durability. It is simple to clean, requiring no waxing or buffing. Simply dust mop or damp mop. INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR – Vortex™ can be applied to any surface indoors or out, and can be applied in low exterior temperatures (50° F) COLOR VARIETY – Vortex™ has 16 standard colors with hundreds of custom mix colors available. INDUSTRIAL, COMMERCIAL, AND RESIDENTIAL – Vortex™ can be applied to cover, line, protect or seal seemingly endless applications, in most all environments.
